The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining is proud to offer an enriching internship programme designed to provide secondary and tertiary-level students on summer break with hands-on experience in the fields of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Mining. Our programme aims to cultivate the next generation of professionals by offering real-world experience, professional development opportunities, and valuable industry insights.
Summer Internship
Eligibility:
To be considered for the Summer Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Status
- Currently enrolled in one of the following:
- A recognized high school (Grade 10 or above), or
- An accredited university or college (undergraduate level – full-time or part-time).
- Currently enrolled in one of the following:
- Academic Performance
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or equivalent (where applicable).
- Academic transcript or a letter of good standing may be requested.
- Availability
- Must be available for the full internship period (typically 6–8 weeks during June–August).
- Must be able to attend orientation and all mandatory programme sessions.
- Interest in Public Service or Related Fields
- Documentation
- Must submit a completed application form
- Any required supporting documents (e.g., reference letter).
