Home | Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining Establishes Dedicated Hotlines for Hurricane Melissa Damage Reporting

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining regret the extensive blow dealt to the lives and livelihoods of our farmers, fishers and miners as a result of the passage of Hurricane Melissa. We are therefore encouraging all stakeholders to make immediate contact with the Ministry and its agencies to report all damages sustained due to the hurricane.
To facilitate the immediate reporting of damages and to provide timely support, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining has established dedicated hotlines in addition to its regular telephone lines, which can both be found below in this release. These lines are operational and staffed by Ministry personnel ready to provide stakeholders with the requisite support as we embark on recovery efforts. Stakeholders are strongly encouraged to make contact with the Ministry and/or its agencies immediately to ensure their losses are accurately documented and that they can be quickly integrated into the Ministry's damage assessment and recovery plan.
