Project Objectives:

 

The overall objective of this Programme Estimate is to contribute to the promotion of sustainable development in the traditional banana growing areas of Jamaica.

Expected Results:

Business opportunities are created through support to potentially viable agricultural and non-agricultural enterprises.

Organisations that promote rural development and rural enterprises in the traditional banana-growing parishes strengthened.

Technical knowledge and skill base of MOAL and RADA developed so as to effectively integrate the RDP within their planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating systems.
