Cabinet has given the seal of approval to an inter-ministerial proposal, which clears the way for the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries to supply natural fruit juice blends to the National School Feeding Programme.
“This will not only serve to stimulate farmers’ primary production and minimize post-harvest losses, but also to boost the nutritional status of more than 130,000 children served by the School Feeding Programme”, Agriculture Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton said.
