Two-day tour of banana farms in St. James

Dr. Tufton was on a two-day tour of banana farms in the parish, following a $230 million Grant Contract Signing Ceremony with the European Union. The monies will be used to assist banana farmers in Portland; St. Catherine; St. James; St. Thomas; St. Mary; and Clarendon in the diversification from banana and plantain production into other areas.
