The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. Its objective is to mobilize resources to be made available on concessional terms for agricultural development programmes that alleviate rural poverty and improve nutrition in poor countries. Jamaica signed the agreement in 1977.but has no current programmes with the fund.
